ROLAND ERIC VILLANUEVA REYES | ||
Roland Eric Reyes is currently associated with the New York City-based Architectural/Interior Design Service firm, Drafting Design Services. He joined DDS in 1999 as a Senior Architectural/Interior CAD Designer, bringing with him extensive previous experiences in residential, commercial and institutional architectural design. Prior to his current assignment, he was employed as an Architectural Designer by the Malaysian architectural firm of Rekarya Consultant Group which he joined in 1995. A graduate of the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture, Roland's educational development was augmented by his involvement as staff member of the University of the Philippines College of Architecture Research Foundation as well as his apprenticeship training under G. R. Flores Architects (Philippines). Seeking to further his training and regional involvement, Roland applied and was selected as one of only three national delegates fro m the University of the Philippines to the Singapore International Foundation-ASEAN Visiting Student Fellowship Program. Under the program, he further enriched his education as a Special Student of the Faculty of Architecture and Building & Estate Management of the National University of Singapore. Together with former colleagues in U.P. College of Architecture, he co-founded the architectural practice, Design Consultants Asia, after his stint in Singapore. Shortly, thereafter, he continued his professional practice as Architectural Design Supervisor in The Official President's Residence (Theemu-ge) project of the Republic of Maldives. He resumed his duties as active Architectural Designer/Partner of Design Consultants Asia upon his return from Maldives before finally joining Rekarya in 1995. As a member of the design team, Roland's expertise in design and the application of Computer Aided Design and Presentation has contributed greatly in advancing the architectural design capabilities of Drafting Design Services. |
